Tunepact — Intellectual Property (IP) Policy

Last updated: 09/04/2025

At Tunepact, we respect the rights of creators and owners of intellectual property, and we expect our community to do the same. This Intellectual Property Policy ("Policy") explains how ownership, licensing, and infringement claims are handled on Tunepact. It should be read together with our Terms of Use, DMCA Policy, and Community Guidelines.

1. Ownership of Your Content

You retain ownership of the music, artwork, videos, and other creative content ("User Content") that you upload to Tunepact. We do not claim ownership of your User Content. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to share it.

2. License You Grant to Tunepact

By uploading User Content, you grant Tunepact a limited, non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, reproduce, stream, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Services. This license allows us to, for example, feature your music on your Tunepage, include it in playlists, or display it in Tunepact promotions. You may remove your content at any time, and this license will end when the content is removed, subject to reasonable technical limitations.

3. What You May Not Upload

You may not upload content that:

  • Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.
  • Contains unlicensed samples, unauthorized covers, or other material you do not have rights to.
  • Misuses another person's name, image, or likeness without permission.
  • Violates our Acceptable Use Policy or Community Guidelines.

4. Infringement Claims

If you believe that your work has been copied or used on Tunepact without authorization, you can submit a notice under our DMCA Policy. We respond to valid notices of claimed infringement and may remove or disable access to the content in question. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Counter‑Notices

If your content was removed due to a copyright complaint and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter‑notice under our DMCA Policy. If valid, we may restore your content unless the original complainant files a court action.

6. Feedback and Suggestions

If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions to Tunepact, you agree that we may use them freely without any obligation to compensate you. We welcome your input to improve the platform.
